Margaret Brady

Margaret Brady

Registered Manager

Margaret Brady – Registered Manager

Overseeing everyday tasks and managing day to day Care and Support processes

At a young age Margaret was a qualified Fashion teacher. Whilst on maternity leave after having her eldest two children she helped a friend who was a District Nurse who had just bought her first Residential Home.

Margaret ended up becoming the Manager for the home in Lytham St. Annes. In the 1980’s many large houses and hotels were converted into Residential Homes and Margaret attended the first course held at St. Annes college to acquire a qualification in Residential Management.

In 1992 she bought her own Residential Home which became renowned for high quality care and home cooked meals which were delivered in the surrounding area. After retiring from the Residential setting Clifton Homecare was founded in 2013. This was the start of a new fresh, challenge and adventure. Clifton Homecare was originally run from the family home but as the company grew, we moved to our office base in Orchard Road, St Annes.

Margaret’s holidays are mostly taken in Corfu where she recharges her batteries and spends time with friends. Margaret enjoys spending her spare time with her grandson and in the kitchen cooking and baking.

Caroline Cosh

Caroline Cosh

Managing Director

Caroline Cosh – Managing Director

HR Management, Health and Safety, Safeguarding lead, Training and Development and Recruitment

Whilst growing up Caroline completed various part time roles at the family residential home; prior to moving away to Yorkshire for a short period of time. Upon her return to Lancashire, Caroline applied and was accepted for a Technician role at North West Ambulance Service, 2 years later she completed her Paramedic training. Caroline continued to support the family at the residential home until it was sold. Caroline and Margaret then decided to utilise many years of Health and Social care experience and began Clifton Homecare.

The business was originally run from Margaret’s home address until taking over offices on Orchard road, St Annes. Caroline only left North West Ambulance service in March 2020 to concentrate full time on Clifton Homecare and have more time to spend with her partner, Ian Cosh (who she swam the English-channel with in a charity event in 2019), her horses and boxer dog.

Caroline is a lover of the outdoor lifestyle and enjoys keeping herself fit and healthy as well as spending quality time with friends and family.

Lauren Kola

Lauren Kola

Assistant Manager

Lauren Kola – Assistant Manager

For much of Lauren’s life she has been surrounded and involved in the care sector. At a young age Lauren’s parents bought the Residential home and it soon became a place for her to spend time. After spending much of her weekends there it became her first Saturday job starting in the pot-wash department. As soon as Lauren became old enough, she started to gain experience in a caring role and loved every minute of it.

At the age of 18 Lauren decided it was time to fly the nest and moved to Corfu, which she had dreamt of after enjoying many holidays there during her childhood! Lauren enjoyed living in Corfu for 3 years and gained some lasting memories and learnt some valuable life lessons! After a lot of thought Lauren decided it was time to come ‘home’.

Lauren returned home and commenced a waitressing role within a well-known Pizza chain however, soon decided it wasn’t for her. Lauren was already working part time for Clifton Homecare helping her mum where she could, so decided to jump ship and work full time in 2013.

Lauren has a little boy called Oscar who is growing up each day! Time seems to fly by and Lauren loves spending any spare time she gets with Oscar. They love doing anything outdoors and anything involving Ice cream! Lauren also loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoying a good old catch up with lots of food and maybe even a nice glass of vino!!

Jacquie Green – Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant

Jacquie with a ‘q’ was born in Fleetwood and grew up in Thornton-Cleveleys with her 2 sisters. Jacquie has 2 grown up children, her son, Shea, is almost 33 and her daughter, Eve who is 27.

Jacquie has a passion for animals and, as most people know, has 2 huge dogs, Perry and Meeko, and 2 wee cats, Bert and Flo. Jacquie’s dream holiday would be either an African safari or back to Canada where the wildlife is amazing. If she won the lottery she would open her own animal sanctuary.

Jacquie is very crafty and in her spare time likes to knit, sew and crochet to relax. Jacquie’s Nan taught her to knit when she was 5 years old and around that time she had a toy (but fully functioning) sewing machine that she used to make dolls clothes on. Jacquie has made wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and ball gowns for friends and family over the years and has recently taught herself to crochet.

Ezra Johnson – Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant

Ezra is originally from South Birmingham and has been living in the Fylde Coast area since 2021.

Having gained 11 years of social care experience in both domiciliary and residential settings prior to joining us, Ezra came to Clifton Homecare with plenty of relevant experience and knowledge. This expertise has shone through during his 18 months with us as he settled in quickly and has become a well-respected member of the team. This was recognised earlier in August 2023, when Ezra was promoted to Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant which was very well deserved. Ezra has been upskilling for some time, continuing to build his knowledge base and is currently studying for his Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care.

In his spare time, Ezra enjoys spending time in the countryside and often goes on long walks where he loves to explore and seek out new places. He has a passion for hill walking and has climbed all 3 of the highest peaks in England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon). He would love to complete the “National Three Peaks Challenge” which would see him climb all 3 peaks (a total walking distance of 37km and total ascent of 10,052 ft) within 24 hours! We are watching this space Ezra!
